On how the audience reacted when he stood up to Gable, Otis said: “Absolutely. In my words, in Gorilla, I say, ‘I’m so f*cking stoked right now.’ [Laughs] It was the coolest thing, and there’s still a lot of storyline there too. It’s an organic thing between me and Gable, we don’t need to discuss much about how we’re gonna do it. He’s observed my anger, my tears, seen me in all these states, he knows what I have to do to flip that switch. It’s humorous when everyone’s saying, ‘Make sure you’re serious,’ and I reply, ‘Guys, have you ever seen me lose my temper in reality?’ It’s quite intimidating. [Laughs] Generally, I’m pretty relaxed.”
Regarding his confrontation with Gable during the segment, he said: “I remember asking myself, ‘Is the push enough?’ I decided to test it out. I thought maybe I should hit him, slam him.”
