CM Punk has urged fans to respect his personal space, particularly when he is traveling across airports. He is known as the Best in the World.
On his Instagram account, Punk issued a warning to those who persistently follow wrestling stars even after being asked not to. He reiterated that airports are not appropriate venues for fan interactions.
In a post, he emphasized: “Hey guys, Love y’all, but friendly reminder to respect privacy and boundaries. Airports are not a meet and greet. If I have to ask you to please stop following me multiple times you have crossed a line. Please stop this. Thank you. (And stop using your children as a shield or an excuse.)”
Several wrestlers have previously raised concerns about being pestered for autographs while at airports. Punk is the most recent superstar to voice this issue.
Last year, Rey Mysterio declined to give autographs to an individual at an airport, suspecting that they were solely interested in selling his signed merchandise.
Regardless of a video that portrayed Mysterio negatively, he was applauded by fellow wrestlers and fans for taking a firm stand.
