In the recent episode of the “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) writer, Freddie Prinze Jr., delved into an interesting discussion revolving around the most influential wrestling factions in history, particularly The Wyatt Family and their transformative impact on the sport.

Freddie elucidated, “This was a gracefully vicious faction that legitimately seized the affection and attention of wrestling enthusiasts. And by the term ‘change’, I mean it literally altered the way individuals perceived wrestling. The usage of mobile lights became a common practice, creating a sensation reminiscent of fireflies among the audience. Furthermore, their promotional content was authentically captivating and managed to resonate with a plethora of people, irrespective of the fact that Bray Wyatt, their leader, was characterized as a supernatural entity. To extend on that, post the Undertaker’s retirement, Bray Wyatt was the last real spectacle in pro-wrestling.”

The Wyatt Family’s original members included Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda), Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan. Tragically, Bray Wyatt, the faction’s founder, passed away in August of 2023. Conversely, Luke Harper had passed away whilst being contracted to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2020.

Earlier this year, WWE RAW audiences witnessed the debut of a new faction, The Wyatt Sick6. This faction is led by Bo Dallas, Freddie’s brother, who’s also known by his wrestling moniker, Uncle Howdy.
