Nia Jax, the current WWE Women’s Champion, is praising Triple H for his ongoing efforts to spotlight the women’s division within WWE. She articulated her thoughts on this subject during a recent interview with Metro.
Jax asserted, “He’s highlighting me. He’s highlighting the women’s division in such a great way that it’s not just me having a great year. I feel like there’s plenty of women that are having a great year. I mean, obviously I’m at the top of that, because I’m the queen and the champ, but it’s great, and it’s funny, because it’s not even the tip of the iceberg.”
Actor and wrestling enthusiast Stephen Amell also joined the discussion regarding WWE talents. During a recent segment of “The Masked Man Show,” he was asked who from WWE he believes could excel in the film and TV industry.
Amell detailed, “I think the guy that might have chops is Kevin Owens. If you’ve ever met Kevin, he’s the most super soft spoken, kind, polite — and then he comes out and [its just] fire when he’s in the ring.” He continued, “Kevin’s really good. I think GUNTHER, have we ever seen anything like GUNTHER? What is he? Is he a heel, is he a face, is he like the anti-hero? I don’t get it, GUNTHER’s just amazing. In terms of chops, Dom.”
