The upcoming fourth edition of AEW Grand Slam is set to take place on September 25th at Arthur Ashe Stadium, located in the Queens district of New York City.
The event will be split into two segments, which will be broadcast as unique episodes for AEW’s regular TV programs, Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision.
On the September 11th episode of Dynamite, many bouts were announced to be a part of the AEW Grand Slam card. The marquee attraction of the special event is the AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson battling against his longstanding adversary, Nigel McGuinness.
In addition to that, a singles confrontation between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley is set, where the future AEW World Title shot granted to Allin could potentially be at risk.
Further, after emerging victorious in the Casino Gauntlet Match, Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher are prepared to take on The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
According to information from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there might be an addition of one more title match to the AEW Grand Slam.
They project that HOOK could defend his FTW Championship against Roderick Strong, considering their ongoing feud and HOOK’s backstage promo segment on Dynamite.
