Next month, Scott D’Amore is planning on bringing back his Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling promotion. In a recent episode of the “Talk Is Jericho” podcast, he spoke about the process of creating the event. He discussed the impressive roster of talent and how proud he was of the commentary team which includes Mauro Ranallo & Don Callis.
Additionally, wrestler Big Bill made an appearance on the “Barstool Rasslin” podcast where he discussed various topics such as his current collaboration with Chris Jericho and the reference behind the name, ‘The Learning Tree’.
In essence, ‘The Learning Tree’ refers to Jericho himself but also includes all his mentees. Big Bill spoke about his alliance with Jericho, stating that it was something he wanted when he returned to AEW. The wrestler mentioned he regularly asks Jericho for advice on different aspects of life and wrestling. He also stated that his self-assurance has significantly improved since starting work with Jericho, a fact most likely also discernible on-screen.
