Following his stint in Japan competing in the N-1 Victory tournament under Pro Wrestling NOAH, Tavion Heights made a triumphant return to WWE NXT in its latest season premiere.
His return proved opportune as it played a crucial role in Charlie Dempsey’s NXT Heritage Cup match. Capitalizing on the moment of turmoil, Heights came to Dempsey’s aid by throwing challenger Je’Von Evans into the ring with a belly-to-belly suplex. Thanks to Heights’ interference, Dempsey was able to gain advantage and scored the decisive pinfall point to retain his title.
