WWE NXT is making preparations for its inaugural broadcast on The CW Network, slated for a few weeks from now. The first two episodes will be shot on location.
Last November, WWE and The CW Network publicized a five-year collaboration. The kickoff episodes of NXT on The CW are slated to be telecast live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago on October 1st, and from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on October 8th.
The Chicago appearance will feature CM Punk, while Randy Orton is scheduled be featured in St. Louis. These WWE events are likely to showcase high-profile matches.
As per ticket sales data from WrestleTix, the Chicago event has seen sales of 4,998 tickets, leaving a balance of 2,493. In the past week alone, WWE managed to sell an additional 136 tickets. For the October 8th St. Louis event, tickets sales stand at 3,103, with a remaining inventory of 3,801.
The much-anticipated Fallout episode of NXT TV from the ‘No Mercy’ event will be aired by WWE on the USA Network this coming Tuesday.
