Professional wrestler Matt Cardona recently appeared on the “Barstool Rasslin” podcast, revealing his plans for the future of his career and his ambition to join a major TV company.
Cardona mentioned that what he seeks can be summed up as “the two Cs…Cash plus Creative equals Cardona.” His objective is not just to be another name on the roster, a scenario he’s experienced before and feels ready to move beyond. He strives to be more deeply engaged, saying, “I want to sink my teeth into something.”
In regards to joining a prominent TV company, Cardona expressed his readiness saying, “There are titles in my closet that I don’t even know what promotion they’re for. I did it, and now is the time to go to a major TV company.”
On another podcast, “Kliq This”, hosted by Kevin Nash, Violent J from the Insane Clown Posse gave commentary on the group’s involvement in WWE and WCW during the Attitude Era and Monday Night Wars Era.
Recalling their exciting time in both companies, Violent J shared, “We were having fun in WWE — F at the time — man, we had a blast in WCW, you know.” He fondly recalled their experience performing at WWE SummerSlam 1998.
However, he voiced his discontent regarding the issue of WWE failing to play a commercial that featured their music. Despite constant promises to feature it, he claimed that it never materialized, a situation that led to the band deciding to leave.
