At the Fanatics Fest x Ring Revolutionaries Panel held in New York City, professional wrestler Jey Uso offered his insights on the realities of pro wrestling life and more.
Here are some notable points from the panel discussion:
Regarding the reality of a pro wrestler’s life, Uso shared, “This is a tough life in reality. People frequently overlook the grueling long drives and the pre-dawn flights. The unnoticed preparation, strict dieting, relentless travel, and constant absence. We are away from home practically all year, with no off-season, 300 days of the year. If I were to describe it, I’d liken it to a circus.”
Discussing the crucial role of respect, Uso underlined, “Respect holds a high importance in our profession. No matter how anyone arrived in this locker room, now that we’re here, we’re in this together. I hold deep affection for all my peers. I wish everyone could glimpse into our off-stage interactions. We’re truly akin to a family.”
