Jesse Ventura, the former Governor of Minnesota, has revealed his displeasure with the convicted felon and America’s ex-president, Donald Trump, with whom he shares a place in the WWE Hall of Fame. He has even admitted to contemplating resigning his Hall of Fame standing due to Trump’s inclusion in it.

Ventura, who held gubernatorial office from 1999 until 2003, recently guested on the podcast “Insight With Chris Van Vliet” to air his sentiments regarding his previous ally turned foe.

Below are the notable conversations from the podcast:

On the topic of whether Ventura is still interested in pursuing a political career, he responded, “The honest truth is that if I can secure ballot access in all 50 states, and were given the opportunity to participate in the debates, I could potentially become the next United States President. At present, I do have a significant issue with one of the candidates. Let me mention that this candidate is a ‘he’, and he is currently in the wrestling hall of fame. The fact that we are together in this hall has prompted me to consider leaving, not once, but two or three times.”

Considering that Ventura was once friendly with Trump during WrestleMania 20, he noted, “He is not the same person anymore. People change over time and sometimes her true colors are revealed.”
