In a recent conversation on the “Under the Ring” podcast, wrestler Kris Statlander shared her thoughts about taking part in the AEW All In 2024: Zero Hour Kickoff event. She doesn’t see it negatively, expressing it in the following words,
“I believe there are advantages to performing in multiple positions on the programme. Probably the perfect spot to wrestle, in my view, is being the third event on the lineup. There is a fair deal of pressure on the initial experiences as they set the atmosphere for the entire show. Now, I’m not aware of the event order, but making an appearance during the Zero Hour is certainly not detrimental. It implies I’m part of the event, and I have taken part in quite a few Zero Hours recently. I like to view it as setting the tone for the show, and then once it’s over, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest of the show, which I absolutely love to do. Although it’s a prestigious role to be in the main event, it also comes with incredible stress because you are the show’s closing act. I aspire to be worthy of that position one day. However, I am quite satisfied with where I am, whether it’s during the Zero Hour, being the third, first, or fifth act in the show. I’m simply thrilled to be a part of it.”
Statlander is set to join forces with Stokely Hathaway for a face-off against opponents Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii in the upcoming Sunday’s pay-per-view event.
