On a recent episode of “What Do You Wanna Talk About”, a podcast hosted by Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Cody Rhodes, revered wrestler, Randy Orton revealed his future wrestling plans, including his yearning to have his retirement match against Rhodes.
The 44-year-old wrestler candidly expressed, “So I’m 44, I’d like to wrestle at least until I’m 50. God, that makes me feel so old. But men have done it before me and tore the house down.”
Keen on the prospect of facing Rhodes in his retirement match whenever it may occur, Orton prudently noted that, “It depends who’s on top. If you were to ask me that question now and I had to give you an answer, I’d say you. Five years from now, maybe the answer’s different, but something tells me it won’t be.”
Both Orton and Rhodes have an extensive shared past within the WWE framework. They worked together in the Legacy faction led by Orton several years ago. The wrestling world anticipates Orton’s upcoming challenge against GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship at the 2024 WWE Bash In Berlin event.
