On the recent episode of Memphis Wrestling, Jordynne Grace and her spouse Jonathan Gresham made an appearance, issuing a mixed tag team match challenge to Nikki and Austin Lane. As reported earlier this weekend, Gresham has secured a full-time role with the organisation, which includes onscreen appearances as well as coaching and mentoring.
Before this week’s AEW Collision TV tapings in Arlington, Texas, Wyatt and Wayne Rhodes, the nephews of Dustin and Cody Rhodes, were part of a dark match, where they emerged victorious against Jon Cruz and Aaron Solo.
In AEW Collision this week, new ROH World Tag Team Champions were crowned. Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara managed to defeat the Undisputed Kingdom’s Matt Taven and Mike Bennett to win the titles.
Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite sees a new match on the card. Chris Jericho and ‘Dynamite Kid’ Tommy Billington will be competing in a singles match. Jericho refereed to himself as the ‘Modern Stu Hart’ during a backstage promo, and claimed to have known Billington’s father. The upcoming lineup for AEW Dynamite includes these matches: AEW Continental Championship: Kazuchika Okada vs. Claudio Castagnoli, AEW Women’s World Championship: Toni Storm vs. Saraya, Big Bill vs. HOOK, and a face-to-face between MJF & Will Ospreay.
