Brother to the late Sika Anoa’i and the uncle of popular WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, death came knocking for Afa Anoa’i on an early Friday morning. Reports indicate that he had been weathering his last days prior to this.
The one to break the news of his death to the world was his beloved daughter, Vale Anoa’i. Through a heartfelt and moving Twitter post, she wrote,
“Today, all of our lives are irreparably changed. I love you so much, Dad. More than any words could ever express. Your strength was absolutely superhuman. You fought all the way to the end, and the end was peaceful. That’s all I could have hoped for. I love you so very much.”
The wrestling world mourns the loss of Afa Anoa’i, who had previously battled two heart attacks and underwent a series of high-risk surgeries. It was merely two months ago that his brother Sika Anoa’i died at the age of 79, on June 25, 2024.
