WWE NXT North American Champion, Oba Femi, is expected to clash with Otis again, as Otis from the Alpha Academy seems eager to get back into the ring with him.
In the most recent episode of WWE NXT, Otis accepted Femi’s open challenge but was unsuccessful in taking down the reigning NXT North American Champion.
During a WWE NXT ‘Digital Exclusive’, Otis voiced his determination to not give up on the fight with Femi. He stated,
“Before my mother’s dying day six months ago, she would always supported me as a child, as a working person. She [had] three jobs, two kids. Every time she was working, it was for a purpose. She told me when you get up that hill, it’s a success, you get slapped every damn time. Every step, that slap gets harder and harder until you get that nice little smooch. That’s when it’s sweet. This ain’t the last of us, Big O.”
Interestingly, ‘Big O’ is a nickname used within WWE for Odyssey Jones, who was referred to as ‘Big O’ by Pat McAfee in the latest episode of RAW.
Oba Femi has put forward another open challenge for the next episode of WWE NXT, but as of yet, no one has officially confirmed their participation.
