The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) corporation officially lodged a new trademark for the phrase “Fatal Influence” on the 13th of August. Here is what the official trademark filing describes in detail:
“The registration for the trademark FATAL INFLUENCE is designed to include a wide range of entertainment services. These incorporate wrestling shows and performances by an expert wrestler and entertainer broadcasted through many media platforms such as television, radio, the internet, and commercial online services. This also covers providing wrestling news and information through a worldwide computer network, and information in the sectors of sports and entertainment through an online community portal. Additionally, it entails producing a website focused on sports entertainment information, fan club services which include organizing wrestling sporting events for fan club members, arranging social entertainment events for wrestling fan club members for their enjoyment. The trademark also extends to distributing online newsletters in the sports entertainment sphere, and maintaining online journals in the format of blogs in the realm of sports entertainment.”
As of this moment, the possible application for this recently registered trademark has yet to be announced by WWE.
