Bryan Danielson, acclaimed for a career that merits WWE Hall of Fame distinction, has indicated he’s unlikely to accept such an honor in the near future. Known as the American Dragon, Danielson won multiple World Championships and became a Grand Slam winner during his tenure with WWE before his departure in 2021.
In a recent conversation on the “Gorilla Position” podcast, Danielson was asked if induction into the WWE Hall of Fame would tempt him to return to the promotion. His response was clear:
“I am completely content with where I am currently. I’m not contractually obligated to anyone, which means I have the freedom I desire. As far as accolades such as the Hall of Fame ring are concerned, I have no desire for them. Absolutely none.”
On August 1, Danielson’s contract with AEW lapsed, but he remains active within the company and has confirmed he will compete at All In: London in 2024.
Additionally, Danielson recently analyzed the pros and cons of both AEW and WWE. His detailed assessment can be checked out here.
