WWE WrestleMania 41 is scheduled as a double-night event, taking place on the 19th and 20th of April, 2025. The location is set to be Allegiant Stadium, situated in Paradise, Nevada.
During a recent investor interaction for TKO’s Q2, President Mark Shapiro discussed how the city of Minneapolis was a strong contender for the event. However, in the end, Las Vegas presented a more compelling offer.
Shapiro elaborated, “Ari (Emanuel) has a unique vision of making our events feel like a lively festival. He believes in amplifying the experience with additional attractions like concerts, weigh-in events, and gastronomic delights similar to what one might experience at the US Open in New York. We’re aiming not only to appeal to the hardcore sports enthusiast but also to convert it into a cultural event. By extending the duration of the event from a single day to potentially three, we hope to bolster local tourism and benefit from increased spending. Our goal is to enhance our events in terms of timeline, quality of content, and overall experience. We’re constantly negotiating with different cities, leveraging our popularity and their desire to host our events to secure the most beneficial deal. This year, WrestleMania is heading to Las Vegas, but Minneapolis was a close contender until Vegas ultimately outbided them. We prioritize transparency in our negotiations, clearly stating our requirements and utilising our influence and the widespread demand for our content to help us achieve the right price and conditions.”
For the first time ever, WWE WrestleMania 41 will be accessible for live streaming on Netflix in overseas markets. This new development follows the merger of the WWE Network with the said platform. Another highlight of the Vegas event will be the final WrestleMania match of John Cena, marking the end of his illustrious 23-year-long career.
