On a recent episode of his podcast called “What Do You Wanna Talk About?”, the reigning WWE Universal Champion, Cody Rhodes, let slip his plans to bulk up by 75 to 100 pounds when he finally hangs up his wrestling boots.

Below, you’ll find some significant points from Rhodes’ discussion on the podcast:

Speaking about reaching his 60s, relaxing, and putting on weight, Rhodes said, “Forewarning everyone now, once I’m done with this wrestling life, my aim is to gain around 75 to 100 pounds. Even if it alters [my] jawline, I don’t mind. I’ve been hitting the gym since I was a 14, which by the way isn’t advisable, but that’s how it was with me due to my background and my dad. I picture myself sporting a Tommy Bahama shirt, khaki shorts, showing signs of sunburn constantly. Not sure how to describe that look, but that’s my vision of my 60s.”

When he pondered on whether he could continue performing his signature moves post weight gain, he said, “Listen up, folks, I don’t mention this weight gain ambition lightly. Sure, it may appear as self-flattery, but if ten years down the road there is a Legends SmackDown, I don’t want people saying ‘Nah, don’t let him in the ring.’ I sincerely hope to be able to perform my moves. After all, there have been many heavyweights who could move on their feet. Take Adrian Adonis who once weighed in at 400 pounds during his career and yet had the agility of a cruiserweight.”
