Renowned WWE personality Kayla Braxton, originally known as Kayla Becker, made an announcement in June that she would be parting ways with WWE, an organization she had been a part of since 2016.
Braxton, in her recent guest appearance on a popular podcast, “The Nikki & Brie Show”, clarified her reasons for stepping away from WWE. She stated that she felt she had seized all possible opportunities within the WWE organization.
Further, Braxton disclosed that she was contractually bound when she made up her mind to quit the WWE fraternity.
While explaining her decision, Braxton articulated, “I was under a contractual obligation. It’s an entirely different ballgame for announcers. After eight solid years, I came to a realization within myself that I had utilized all possible opportunities in this place. The WWE schedule is quite demanding, which limits the possibility of accomplishing anything else I wished to do. I started feeling that I was missing out on external opportunities. My earlier role wasn’t as fulfilling anymore. Hence, I had to take the tough decision of leaving, even though I wasn’t quite sure of my next move just yet. The exit was on friendly terms, I simply felt it was time for me to depart.”
Braxton made her final appearance on WWE on the 28th of June episode of SmackDown, hosted at the illustrious Madison Square Garden in New York City.
