WWE disclosed on Tuesday that its NXT show is all set to premiere its initial two episodes on The CW Network. The venues selected for these shows are Allstate Arena in Chicago on 1st October and the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on 8th October, respectively.
The highlight of these episodes will be the special guest appearances by renowned wrestlers – CM Punk gracing the Chicago show and Randy Orton enlightening the St. Louis episode. The ticket sale for these exciting events will kick off from the morning of 15th August at 10 AM, local time.
Wrestling news analysts, Dave Meltzer made clear that though NXT is organizing these couple of shows in grander venues, it does not symbolize a constant shift towards mainline arena shows.
The strategy is to keep NXT’s broadcasts running from the Performance Center in Orlando, bringing in larger venues into play as and when felt necessary.
One of the insiders involved shared, “For the initial two weeks we will be stepping out of Orlando. Nonetheless, based on elements such as ticket demand, none of the prospective decisions are yet final.”
It is to be noted that WWE entered into a five-year pact with The CW Network back in November 2023.
