In recent eWn coverage, it has been reported that WWE is instigating a reshuffle of its commentary teams due to the entrance of Joe Tessitore.
Tessitore will initiate his tenure on RAW in Denver, Colorado, commencing September 2. This induction coincides with Cole’s transition to SmackDown, sparked by the reappearance of Pat McAfee on ‘College GameDay’.
This modification results in Cole teaming up with Wade Barrett on SmackDown, while Tessitore will join forces with Corey Graves on RAW.
WWE RAW has plans to transition from USA Network to Netflix starting from January 2025. An agreement, estimated to be worth over billion, is said to be in place for a decade, amounting to at least 0 million yearly.
WWE’s current agreement with the USA Network will be concluded in September 2024, with RAW continuing to be broadcast on the network during a transitional phase before completely moving to Netflix.
Dave Meltzer from F4WOnline reports that these alterations to the WWE commentary teams are provisional. Tessitore is expected to align with SmackDown in January, and Cole will come back to RAW following its move to Netflix.
In addition, Tessitore will persist in his role at ESPN, serving as a sports broadcaster for college football and Top Rank boxing.
