Wrestler Mariah May opened up about her experiences working closely with Toni Storm and how she intends to leverage those insights in her fight against Storm at the 2024 AEW All In. In a surprising move, May betrayed Storm after clinching the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
During an interview with Daily Star, the topic turned to what May had gleaned from her association with Storm, to which she responded,
“Why should we put the competition on hold? I unquestionably took away a plethora of knowledge from Toni Storm! I have immense respect and affection for Toni. She’s endorsed me through everything, from my entrance into the UK indies to perform for her, to Stardom where she virtually charted a course for wrestlers like myself, and through our journey in AEW.”
She further elaborated, “I absorbed so much from Toni Storm that I’m literally going to marshal all that wisdom when I face off against her at Wembley Stadium on August 25th, and consequently triumph the World Championship.”
