During a recent exchange with “The Ringer”, Braun Strowman shed light on his decision to distance himself from The Wyatt Sicks. He spoke about feeling drawn towards this newly established faction.
Speaking about his feelings, Strowman stated, “They’re absolutely terrifying. There’s no softer way to phrase it. I have repeatedly mentioned in numerous interviews that I am intentionally striving to keep clear from them at this point. That part of my personality, I attempt rigorously to suppress. There exists another monster within this outer monster, and I can feel him shaking the bars of his cage. I am magnetically attracted to them, and yet I resist. I do not wish to regress, nor to release this hidden monster. If they manage to coax this version of me out, I am terrified for myself and those in my vicinity. When this monstrous side of me comes to fore, I am not a pleasant person to be around. I am proficient in causing harm to individuals. However, I am overjoyed for Taylor, who has the chance to perpetuate Windham’s legacy and bask in his own spotlight. Except for his time in NXT, he hasn’t been given a chance to reveal his prowess to the world. As I have often repeated, Taylor’s talent matches or even surpasses Windham’s. He just hasn’t had his moment in the sun, but now people are beginning to glimpse it. Their achievements, their compelling narrative, they keep you riveted, always anticipating what’s coming next. Their brilliant execution keeps me, as a fan, hooked and always wanting more. It’s just as addictive as caffeine, a potent drug that keeps you yearning for more. I need to see how this continues.”
Braun Strowman was previously a part of The Wyatt Family, which consisted of Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan. Before this, he was a Rosebud in Adam Rose’s entourage.
