WWE’s popular show SmackDown is getting ready for a change of venue as it prepares to shift to USA Network starting from 13th September. In a recent discussion on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray strongly suggested that the show should continue to be aired on Fridays.
Bully Ray went on record on the podcast saying, “No, retaining Friday night’s slot for SmackDown would be ideal. This concept has proved fruitful. Given that no other wrestling shows are scheduled for Friday nights, there’s no need for WWE to see any other night as a competitor. It doesn’t make sense to have SmackDown on Wednesday nights as it will just open a Pandora’s box that … WWE would certainly wish to avoid, especially contemplating potential rivalry between Dynamite and SmackDown. The mere thought sends shivers down my spine.”
Ray further added, “What fascinates me is the distinct partition between RAW and SmackDown. And the weekend provides the much-needed break before RAW kickstarts all over again.”
In the meanwhile, wrestler Mansoor surprised his fans by posting a video snippet on Twitter where he can be seen making an entrance with his MxM Collection collaborator Mason Madden. This is what he quipped in his caption:
“Normalize connecting with your buds in unusual ways,
There’s nothing more intimate than friends experimenting with unexpected gestures.”
