At the media session following WWE SummerSlam 2024, Triple H shared some insights, including Stephanie McMahon’s current status within WWE, and John Cena’s future with the company.
Addressing questions about Stephanie McMahon’s involvement with WWE, Triple H confirmed that while she does not hold an official position at the moment, she is actively enjoying the shows and the company. He painted a picture of McMahon as a dedicated fan, stating, “She’s enjoying coming to the shows, seeing everybody in the back, she loves it…No official role right now. Her current role is enjoying our kids growing up quickly, but we’ll see what the future holds.”
The conversation then shifted to John Cena’s career trajectory. Triple H acknowledged Cena’s thoughts about a looming expiry date on his career, but affirmed his return to WWE in the near future. He elucidated, “I reckon, at the start of the year, John will be back for what appears to be his farewell tour…by the end of 2025, that will mark the end of John Cena’s active and competitive role in the ring.”
