Cody Rhodes retains his ruling championship status as the Unchallenged WWE Universal Champion.
At the highly contested WWE SummerSlam 2024 headline match, Rhodes triumphed over Solo Sikoa, thanks in part to the unexpected aid from crowd favorite, Roman Reigns.
In a thrilling spectacle, the bout was carried out under the Bloodline Rules, leading to an attempted interference from Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. This inadvertent invasion was promptly warded off by Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.
As the bout progressed, Jacob Fatu made a surprise appearance to assault Rhodes. However, Reigns notably returned to the ring for the first time since his last WrestleMania 40 appearance, taking down Sikoa with a powerful Superman punch and a spear.
