Professional wrestler Buddy Matthews of AEW has expressed his readiness to assist his spouse Rhea Ripley following her betrayal by Dominik Mysterio at the WWE SummerSlam 2024 event.
In a surprising turn of events during the WWE Women’s World Championship match, Mysterio betraying his ring mother or ‘Mami,’ played a part in retaining Liv Morgan’s title in the match held in Cleveland.
Responding to these events, Matthews followed Twitter to request Tony Khan’s permission to step in and support Ripley. “TK can I help Mami real quick?” Matthews tweeted on August 3, 2024.
Married earlier the same year, Matthews and Ripley are both professional wrestlers. Matthews made a comeback to AEW shows not too long ago, following a short period of absence.
