Booker T’s take on Shane McMahon’s meeting with Tony Khan was straightforward, “In this industry, nothing astounds me. Might I be convinced that Tony Khan sought Shane McMahon for his professional insights, knowledge, possibly a unique approach to the company’s management? Absolutely, I could visualize that. It’s all about making strides to get bigger and better. Does Shane McMahon need the cash? My guess is no.”
Booker T’s view on McMahon’s professional wrestling ambitions stood firm, “In my opinion, one should never prematurely hang up the boots, especially when they don’t need to. If someone still carries passion for something they love and there’s a sizeable sum of money offered to participate, picking up that check seems like the logical decision regardless of your bank account status. Acting wisely implies capitalizing on all opportunities, so I wouldn’t disregard the thought of such a scenario unfolding. This kind of development isn’t far-fetched… In this field, there will always be something stirring the pot… Hence, I am neither startled nor taken aback. These are rumors we’ve been hearing for quite some time… So again, I’m not taken back, not at all.”
