Tonight, the AEW American Championship will be on the line as MJF squares off against Templario. The showdown is set to happen at the CMLL Viernes Espectacular event at Arena Mexico.
In an intriguing clip shared on Twitter, MJF promises to swiftly defeat Templario and he confidently exclaimed,
“I’ve just touched down in Mexico. The airport has an unpleasant scent, and the locals aren’t any better. I’m eager to trounce Templario swiftly and return to the one country that truly matters, the United States of America.”
Previously, MJF emerged victorious against Will Ospreay to become the AEW American Champion (previously known as the Intercontinental Championship) on the milestone 250th edition of AEW Dynamite.
