Veteran professional wrestler LuFisto has appealed to her fan base for financial assistance to help fund critical surgical procedures, which have become necessary due to health complications impairing her ability to walk comfortably.
A detailed statement on her GoFundMe page reveals that LuFisto was diagnosed with Lipedema several years ago. The condition has since escalated, causing severe complications in her body that require immediate medical attention.
The situation has resulted in LuFisto dealing with “enormous pain and almost complete lack of mobility,” a stark contrast from her previous ability to partake in daily training sessions.
Earlier this year, she underwent an operation on her upper thighs in May, which required her to secure a substantial loan. Nonetheless, this surgical procedure greatly improved her health status.
The next step in her medical journey is a second surgery, slotted for August 20, and the funds raised from the GoFundMe campaign will help cover associated medical bills, transportation, accommodation, and nourishment expenses. Her plea has already resonated with fans and supporters across the wrestling community.
