In a recent episode of his “The Snake Pit” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer, Jake Roberts revisited an incident that took place with Moose Morowski. Going into specifics, Roberts discussed an episode that resulted in him getting sliced by a razor blade and ending up with a massive gash on his leg, later causing his boot to be doused in blood.
More highlights from this recent podcast session are presented below:
Discussing the encounter with Moose Morowski, Roberts said, “My career in the main events was kicked off in Vancouver, thanks to a brutal lesson taught by Moose Morowski. Moose and I wound up in face-offs quite a number of times, and it was a proud moment for me when our first sell-out match happened in Vancouver. It was an intense cage match at the PNE Garden, which was a jam-packed house. I was lucky that Moose was scheduled for a tour in Japan and was kind enough to let me come out on top in front of the overseas audience. He pulled all stops for me to shine brightly. However, I was left quite bloody and wounded post-match. So there’s that to remember.”
He further narrated, “Moose had taped a blade to his forearm, which unexpectedly pierced through during some part of the match when he reached for my leg. It gave me a serious cut, about six or seven inches long. The severity of the injury dawned upon me when I felt my boot squelching under the weight of my blood. The sight of my laces seeping with blood was quite unnerving, to say the least.”
When asked if he sought stitches for the gory wound, he chuckled and replied, “No, I merely squeezed the wound together and slapped on a ton of butterfly bandages. I had to toughen up and just go with it.”
