On a recent episode of the SportsKeeda’s “Wrestle Binge” podcast, Mark Henry opened up about wrestler Jade Cargill, expressing his firm belief that she was born to be a wrestler.

Henry commented, “She’s resilient and incredibly tough, born for the wrestling arena. She’s in excellent company, like Braun Strowman, Apollo Crews, Bryan Danielson, and others I have mentored in my career. I’m a fan of Bianca Belair’s rise to success as well. It gives me immense satisfaction to witness their success, especially when they reach out to me, acknowledging my belief in them and thanking for the proper guidance.”

At another junction, Henry revealed he had never expected a single penny from Cargill, nor from any other wrestler he mentored. In his words, “I’ve always offered assistance without expecting anything in return. None of those who I helped have ever paid me a cent, because I have never asked for it.”

Cargill’s introduction to wrestling was through a common acquaintance who introduced her to Henry. Soon after, she considered the WWE star as her guiding light in the world of wrestling.

In 2020, she joined AEW where she emerged as the inaugural and the longest-holder of the AEW TBS championship before parting ways with the company in 2023.

Not long after her departure from AEW, Cargill was signed by WWE and she instantly made a mark by winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Bianca Belair.

Mark Henry, on his part, was associated with AEW during the Double or Nothing event in 2021, after spending many years with WWE. However, in May, he announced that he would be leaving AEW as his contract would not be renewed.
