AEW/ROH Chief Tony Khan reported that Ring of Honor has had a significant role in his continued discussions with Warner Bros regarding a new media rights agreement.
Press interaction was held Thursday to advertise the pay-per-view event ‘ROH Death Before Dishonor’. The AEW/ROH leader, known as “TK”, divulged that the ROH brand was a recurring topic in the conversations, stating,
“Yes, I have had fruitful discussions with Warner Brothers Discovery and Ring of Honor has been a subject of interest in these talks, which is thrilling. It’s a remarkable period in the wrestling industry and AEW and ROH, moreover, AEW is discussing a significant media rights bundle and having intense and exhilarating dialogues that we’re conducting presently with Warner Brothers Discovery.”
He expounded further, “It’s phenomenal for ROH to be incorporated in this. We’ve talked about it. ROH is a brilliant brand. We churn out quality content every week along with pay-per-view shows, and a great library of historical content and trademark and IP opportunities. It’s an ongoing dialogue and Ring of Honor is included in our larger AEW negotiations.”
