Bryan Danielson, a prominent figure in All Elite Wrestling, is expected to stay with the company for the foreseeable future, as mentioned by AEW President Tony Khan.
Last year, Danielson announced his plans to make 2024 his last year as a full-time wrestler. He intends to focus more on his personal life, spending quality time with his wife Brie and their children.
Tony Khan, while speaking on “The Rich Eisen Show” podcast recently, was asked about the veterans in AEW. His response underscored Bryan Danielson’s significant contribution to the company.
In his words, he stated, “We are proud to have so many excellent leaders within our team, and that’s truly exhilarating. We have quality leadership and fantastic individuals here, and I sincerely believe that Bryan Danielson is among the cream of the crop.”
He further revealed his hopes for the longtime wrestler, “I hope that Bryan will continue to be a part of us for the rest of his existence, and I am aware he envisages staying with us for an extended period as part of the organization. I would desire for Bryan to remain with us provided it is feasibly possible.”
Earlier this month, Danielson emerged victorious in the 2024 Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament. He is set to challenge AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at AEW’s upcoming 2024 All In event.
AEW’s biggest annual event will occur on August 25, housed at the Wembley Stadium in London, England. This marks the promotion’s second gathering within the famous venue.
