Renowned tag team wrestler Matt Hardy has expressed his desire to square off against the Motor City Machine Guns. Despite his extensive experience in pitted battles with many acclaimed tag teams, the ‘Broken’ one has a keen interest in facing this particular team.
During his recent guest appearance on the “Wrestle Binge” podcast, Hardy reflected on his tag-team wrestling career and discussed the teams he would be keen on wrestling with. His response was remarkable,
“I honestly can’t state with certainty if there is such a tag team. A team that I believe would have been exciting to face would be the Motor City Machine Guns. Unfortunately, we have never had the opportunity to wrestle against the duo. Although we must acknowledge that we have been fortunate enough to wrestle nearly everyone else.”
The Motor City Machine Guns, made up of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, have been reported to be engaging in discussions with WWE in the past few weeks. As rumored, they are likely to join the promotion soon.
Alex Shelley previously appeared in WWE NXT in January 2020. Simultaneously, Hardy is enjoying his stint with TNA and had recently competed in the Slammiversary 2024 pay-per-view event.
