Professional wrestler Big E. recently shared insights about his health condition and the requirements necessary for his comeback to WWE.
During his participation in Chris Vannini’s “Getting Over” podcast, Big E., an integral part of The New Day team, offered an update about his health, his appearance at WWE Money in the Bank, among other things.
Below are some salient points from the podcast discourse:
Big E’s neck situation: “I have been living with a broken neck for the past two years. My C1 vertebra was shattered in two places, along with my C6. Despite that, I am not experiencing any pain, discomfort, or weakness. I am in perfect shape. However, the only thing holding me back is the healing process of my C1. It is healing fibrously which works fine for everyday life but, unfortunately, hasn’t ossified or turned into new bone. I won’t be medically cleared until this happens. This bone plays a pivotal role. Hence, all I can do right now is wait. I underwent a stem cell treatment in Cancun a month back, which I’m hoping makes a difference. As of now, I feel fantastic, but I am still awaiting medical clearance.”
Speaking about his appearance at WWE Money in the Bank: “I had a great experience. Despite the limited crowd, the feeling of being appreciated again was overwhelming. It felt like coming back home. After being in this industry for 15 years, it’s like my second home.”
