Jordynne Grace, the reigning TNA Knockouts Champion, will be taking on the unconventional opponent, METAL, the mascot of the Montreal Canadiens, in an arm wrestling match. The entertaining showdown has been confirmed to take place on Friday, the 19th of July, at Bell Centre.
Grace took to social media platform Twitter, to respond to this announcement, in a jesting yet confident tone:
“Never believed NHL’s mascot would be an opponent I’d have to contend with! While I don’t intend to hurt you unnecessarily, how about me breaking your arm like a snapped hockey stick in an arm wrestling contest? We’re to face off on July 19, in your territory, Bell Centre. Perhaps this would discourage you from tweeting for some time, METAL!”
Moreover, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii have also been confirmed to participate in NJPW’s Capital Collision. The high-profile event is scheduled to be held on the 30th of August in Washington, DC. Their opponents for the event, however, remain unannounced to date.
