A pre-recorded episode of WWE SmackDown is scheduled to air enroute to the grand SummerSlam event of 2024.
The forthcoming SmackDown episode is set to bring Carmelo Hayes and Andrade into the ring for a thrilling match. Spectators will also get to see Logan Paul, the reigning WWE United States Champion, making an appearance. Alongside, Cody Rhodes caught the limelight as he is slated to address The Bloodline, with his Undisputed WWE Universal Champion title.
According to sources from Pwinsider, the WWE episode of SmackDown for the 26th of July will be taped shortly after the live episode of this week. The decision is seen as a move to accommodate WWE’s subsequent live event tour in Japan. The tour kicks off on the 25th of July, Thursday, at the Edion Arena in Osaka and will be followed by two more shows at the iconic Ryogoku Sumo Hall on the 26th and 27th of July.
This upcoming tour represents the reentry of WWE in Japan after a long break since 2019.
