In the esteemed career of Kevin Nash, numerous broadcasters have had the task of commentating on his matches. Certain ones have left a more significant impression on the twice-inducted WWE Hall of Famer.
In a recent episode of Nash’s podcast, “Kliq This,” he disclosed his favorite commentators who’ve called his matches. He expressed,
“I’ve always appreciated [Mike] Tenay. I reckoned ‘The Professor’ did a great job. Tony Schiavone was also commendable. I’m a massive supporter of JR because he treated wrestling like any other sport. JR has always had my respect.”
The conversation also turned towards commentators who’ve never called his matches, even though Nash wished they had, owing to his prolonged career. In this context, he disclosed,
“It’s tough to name them all. I’ve had the opportunity to have my matches called by Gordon Solie. Lance Russell… I was present the day Bobby [Heenan] quit ‘Superstars’ and moved to WCW with a roll of toilet paper trailing behind him. Joey [Styles] never got a chance to call my matches. At least none that I can recall… I suspect I was away when that would’ve happened.”
