Ticket sales are set to begin for a live WWE performance at a controversial location in Manchester, England, an advance much further than many expected.
Earlier this year, in June, WWE revealed an array of UK events scheduled for the later part of the year. Notably, fans observed that tickets for the Manchester performance were not available for purchase as the other events’ were.
Set to be inaugurated back in April, the Co-Op Live arena had to face repeated delays because of safety considerations and ongoing construction work. As a consequence, scraps of previously planned events were witnessed.
Understandably, this garnered a lot of criticism from event enthusiasts within the UK. Doubts grew about the timeline for the opening of the venue.
Despite weekly operations starting in the arena in May, the aftereffects of repeated delays continued to influence many events. This possibly clarifies WWE’s hesitance to put the Manchester show tickets up for sale along with the rest of the scheduled events.
This week, WWE has given the assurance that the performance is set to continue as planned at the Co-Op Live venue. The tickets would become available for purchase on Friday, 19th of July at exactly 10 AM BST.
The lineup publicized includes known personalities like Cody Rhodes, Bayley, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, LA Knight, AJ Styles, Nia Jax, The Bloodline, The Street Profits, Kevin Owens, and Bianca Belair.
