Sarah Schreiber caught up with Big Show post-RAW bout after he, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe defeated AOP and Seth Rollins in a three-man tag match. Show took a moment to comment on how much the return meant to him, citing that he had five hip surgeries in the past year and a half.
“Tonight was amazing. After going through five hip surgeries in a year and a half, to be able to take a phone call from a friend up here in the business, to come out in front of this incredible crowd tonight and get back in the ring in almost a year and a half and be competitive, I’m just extremely humbled and grateful.”
Show continues:
“They say what doesn’t break you makes you stronger and I think my faith in my career and faith in myself and faith in this business was tested last two years like it was never tested before and I’m extremely grateful for the fans and we’ll see what happens next week.”
Schreiber revealed to Big Show that he’d be competing in a six-man tag “fist fight” next week on RAW. Big Show was taken aback by the news, but looked all but eager to knock a fool out.
“Let me get this right – somebody wanted to fist fight with me in the match? Somebody doesn’t like like AOP or Seth Rollins. Oh my gosh, that’s funny! Thank you.”
