World Tag Team Champion, Finn Balor, has come forward to applaud the work of WWE President Nick Khan, acknowledging the significant impact Khan has had on WWE since his arrival.
Nick Khan joined the ranks of WWE in 2020, filling the roles of previous co-Presidents Michelle Wilson and George Barrios. Since his induction, the WWE has noticed a surge in its business activity.
During an episode of the podcast, “What’s The Story?”, Balor openly recognized Khan’s positive influence on the company, stating,
“The business has certainly improved since Nick Khan joined the team. His impact cannot be overstated. The mounting audience numbers can largely be attributed to the exceptional storylines, but also significantly to Nick’s influence. His informed business decisions and efforts to establish contracts with various media outlets have increased our exposure, thus aiding our growth. It’s intriguing to ponder what the upcoming Netflix deal might bring.”
This reference to a Netflix deal denotes the move of WWE RAW to the major streaming platform, which is set to take place in January 2025. This change signals the end of a 32-year-long syndication on television.
In addition to this, fans located outside the United States will also gain access to WWE SmackDown, WWE NXT, and all pay-per-view events as part of this Netflix agreement.
