AEW (All Elite Wrestling) has been prospering through a solid alliance with Warner Bros. Discovery. At present, both players are in the midst of hashing out a fresh mutual agreement. The trail for a new media rights contract is being blazed, but has yet to reach completion.
Despite this, AEW President Tony Khan remains steadfast in his faith in the collaboration, and is excited about signing a renewed contract with Warner Bros. Discovery. Indications are that AEW has built in-depth associations with WBD’s portfolio, pointing towards a more resilient and thoroughgoing partnership between both entities.
According to news from Pwinsider, a panel dedicated to AEW will be set up at the San Diego Comic-Con. This will illuminate new tie-ups with brands that are part of the Warner Bros. Discovery umbrella, including DC Comics and Adult Swim. This team-up hints at a hopeful future rapport between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery.
The panel, termed as “AEW’s Rise Inside the Ring and Beyond,” will take place on Thursday, July 25, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM PDT in Room 6BCF. It will celebrate AEW’s journey since its birth in 2019 to its current state as a globally recognized wrestling promoter, marking pivotal moments like record-shattering crowd count at Wembley Stadium and key achievements over the preceding year.
The event will also herald momentous news across various fan communities, prominently featuring its alliance with DC Comics and merger with the Adult Swim trademark.
As part of AEW’s five-year anniversary, eminent wrestlers like Swerve Strickland, “Timeless” Toni Storm, Will Ospreay, Orange Cassidy, Britt Baker, and Darby Allin will share their views on AEW’s evolution and success.
