Kevin Sullivan, a notable figure in the world of wrestling, and particularly well known for his work at WCW, is struggling with the aftermath of a catastrophic accident he faced recently.
While participating in an autograph signing event in Florida on May 12, 2024, Sullivan suffered a severe accident. The emergency surgery that was subsequently performed was critical in preventing both the amputation of his leg and severe life-threatening complications. However, despite these efforts, Sullivan had to overcome major medical obstacles, including incidents of sepsis and encephalitis.
This deeply unfortunate tragedy has put a large financial burden on Sullivan’s family. With him in unconscious states while in the ICU, the situation has become even more overwhelming for the family as they are not in the same location.
A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated to support Sullivan during these trying times, with the aim to collect ,000. Within no time, the campaign received a phenomenal response with contributions crossing the ,000 mark.
Key personalities from the wrestling world have shown their solidarity with Sullivan. Tony Khan, the President of AEW, extended a generous contribution of ,000 whereas Jim Cornette, along with his spouse, donated ,000. Chris Jericho also stepped forward with a donation of ,500.
In addition, other VIPs from the wrestling world, such as Scott D’Amore, Cody Rhodes, and DDP have resonated their support by making contributions as well.
The GoFundMe campaign is open for anyone to support and make a donation.
From everyone at eWn, we send our heartfelt wishes for a fast and easy recovery to Kevin Sullivan.
