Speculations were rife about Mark Henry’s next steps in the professional wrestling domain following the termination of his AEW contract on May 30, 2024.
In a subsequent conversation with “Sportskeeda,” the former WWE star shared insights about his plans post-AEW. He expressed his dedication towards focusing on his Strong Kids initiative to foster all-around development in children.
Henry shared, “I needed time to focus some attention on Mark Henry Strong Kids. My lovechild, if you will, to the world, trying to teach kids how to not only get stronger physically, but get stronger mentally and emotionally, and explain to them how to be strong in willpower and discipline and also teach them how to compete. So, Mark Henry Strong Kids is number one.”
Following his exit from AEW, he surprisingly guest appeared with Teddy Long, fellow WWE Hall of Famer, at MLW Battle Riot VI.
