AEW and Adult Swim are set to collaborate again, this time for a ‘Battle For The Booty’ Tournament at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con. The event is planned for July 25 and features intriguing pairings such as Johnny TV & Taya Valkyrie squaring off against Fang & Meatwad and Orange Cassidy & Willow Nightingale versus Rachel & Mr. Frog.
This is not the first time for AEW and Adult Swim to join forces. They did previously in 2019 with a promotional event highlighting Rick & Morty. In an attempt to make fans feel more engaged, they distributed Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith masks to the fans in attendance.
During that event, Orange Cassidy and The Best Friends, comprised of Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta entertained the crowd dressed as and being introduced by Rick and Morty.
The team-up between AEW and Adult Swim continues to blend the worlds of mainstream wrestling and pop culture, promising an exciting showdown at the forthcoming San Diego Comic-Con.
