Just because you missed the WWE Monday Night Raw episode on July 8, 2024, doesn’t mean you can’t catch up on the feud between CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins! Sit back, we’ve got all the crucial highlights for you.
We’ve got a short TL;DW (too long; didn’t watch) outline of all the crucial happenings from this show.
The episode commenced with CM Punk’s heated rant about backstabbing Drew McIntyre at the WWE Money in the Bank event in Toronto this past Saturday night. He emphasized the importance of actions’ repercussions and made a commitment to continue making life difficult for McIntyre.
Suddenly, Seth Rollins walked into the scene, obviously displeased with Punk’s involvement in the World Heavyweight Championship match which affected him negatively. The backstory here is that after McIntyre’s unfortunate incidents involving Punk and getting pinned down by Damian Priest during the cash-in of his Money in the Bank briefcase, Rollins lost his potential title shot as long as Priest held the title.
Punk issued a pseudo-apology before launching an attack. A verbal spat escalated between the two, which culminated in The Visionary threatening that he would go after Punk once he’s medically cleared.

In a surprising move later in the episode, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce instructed CM Punk to step away as he was stirring up conflicts and provoking unnecessary battles. Pearce warned Punk that another disobedience would nullify his match with McIntyre and future title prospects. Pearce now intends to handle McIntyre personally in a meeting next week.
