Trish Stratus, a prominent figure in 2024’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event, recently participated in an exclusive chat on the “Inside The Ropes” podcast. Here, she delved into her thoughts on the current creative dynamics, particularly under the headship of Triple H. In her own words:
“From my perspective, someone who has been in the game for a considerable length of time, I didn’t feel the creative process was significantly different. It was primarily about laying out the ideas, communicating our views and I had the leeway to orchestrate the timeline as per my understanding and vision, something I knew I wanted to bring to life. Everyone seemed to have a common understanding of things. As far as Vince was concerned, we were on the same page, except for his reluctance in having me come back. He was of the opinion that the audience would never jeer at the babyface, to which I maintained, ‘Yeah, they would.’ ”
Continuing her thoughts on the subject, she added, “Honestly, the process felt familiar. Yes, there was an evident transition in authority and certain queries were raised on who the go-to person would be, causing a bit of disarray. However, aside from that, it all boiled down to how one handles their affairs – by liaising with the scriptwriters, finalizing the storyline, and finding the best approach to execute it. In my experience, it was a smooth process.”
